16 Days of activism - against Violence against Women and girls...

The commencement of the annual 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence occurred on 25 November 2023, recognized as the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and girls. This activist-driven campaign, is supported by ASÉ

and extends its impactful initiatives until 10 December 2023.

The grave repercussions of violence against women, particularly intimate partner violence, significantly affect health, resulting in both immediate and enduring consequences. ASÉ's delivery of the FREEDOM Programme offers support instrumental in addressing and combating these issues during the16 Days of Activism, acknowledged annually as Human Rights Day.
