i-matter:
Voices of strength
SESSIONS: 11am - 1pm
Every Tuesday - Begins 3rd March 2026.
The Freedom Programme is a free 12-Week Programme designed to help participants understand the different forms of domestic abuse, why abuse happens, and how to recognise the signs of controlling or harmful behaviour in relationships. The programme supports individuals to build awareness, confidence and understanding, empowering them to break the cycle of abuse.
i-MATTER: Voices of Strength is an important step towards healing, rebuilding self-belief and regaining a sense of control. Participants are warmly invited to attend our confidential and safe coffee mornings, which are open to everyone at any stage of the programme. These sessions provide a welcoming space for connection, reflection and peer support. Please feel free to share this information with others who may benefit.
Each participant will receive a free copy of Living with the Dominator by Pat Craven, which helps explore the behaviours, patterns and characteristics of abusive individuals.
The programme offers a safe and supportive environment where participants can gently make sense of their experiences, helping what may feel confusing or overwhelming to become clearer and more manageable. The Freedom Programme also sensitively explores the impact of domestic on children and importantly offers hope by showing how children's wellbeing, confidence and stability can be improved once abuse is removed.
